Zuni Silver Multi Stone Gods Eye Sunface Squash Blossom Necklace & Earring Set.
This squash Sunface necklace isn't totally inlayed. The actual face is but the flower petal like rays are individually cut and carved to fit. Instead of all of them usually being ground flat at the same time. This process isn't seen as often because it takes a lot longer to do. It does give the piece a special sparkle and dimension that was worth the extra work. Hard to capture in my photos.
The necklace is approximately 23 inches long made with 10 mm sterling handmade beads. These are not the cheap seamless new ones you see now. This is a vintage item but it has been restrung.
Main pendant is approximately 1 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches.
Individual faces are approximately 7/8 inches across.a
The pierced earrings are 3/4 inch across.
