ZUNI MICHAEL LAWEKA EAGLE FETISH TURQUOISE LAPIS SPINY OYSTER STERLING SILVER NECKLACE.
Wearble length is approximately 20 inches long with the Eagle Pendant hanging an additional 3 inches.
I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS GORGEOUS HAND CARVED BY ZUNI ARTIST MICHAEL LEWEKA EAGLE FETISH PENDANT. LARGE, THICK, HEAVY,  HIGHLY DETAILED ON BOTH SIDES MADE FROM CLAM SHELL WITH TURQUOISE INLAY EYES.
BY THE TIME I STRUNG THE NECKLACE TOGETHER IT IS TOO HEAVY FOR MY OLD LADY BAD NECK. I HAVE OTHER LIGHTER FETISH NECKLACES SO WANTED THIS ONE TO GO TO A GOOD HOME.
I MADE THE NECKLACE WITH STERLING SILVER NAVAJO PEARLS, STAMPED AND SMOOTH WITH THE CENTER SEAM, STAMPED CONES AND HOOK CLASP.
NATURAL BLUE ARIZONA TURQUOISE HEISHI STONES WITH MOTHER OF PEARL HEISHI, LAPIS LAZULI, PYRITE , SPINY OYSTER SHELL, AND ONE AMBER ROUND BEAD I STRUNG IN AN ASYMMETRICAL DESIGN.
IN THE CENTER WITH THE EAGLE I USED VINTAGE LARGE (half inch wide) NATURAL KINGMAN MINE TURQUOISE DISKS (from my stash) SEPARATED WITH LARGE SPINY OYSTER DISKS.
THESE LARGE KINGMAN DISKS ARE HARD TO FIND ON THE MARKET AND ARE CALLED CEREMONIAL DISKS.
I will send the paperwork from the trading post I purchased the Eagle pendant from. They have been in business purchasing Zuni art directly from the artists for years.
