    Vintage Zuni Horace Iule Sterling Silver and Turquoise Cross
    John Adair (1944) stated in his book titled, The Navajo and Pueblo Silversmiths, that Horace Iule (Aiuli) (c.1901-1978) had achieved a level of success that enabled him to rely upon his craft for his sole livelihood. He also identified Iule as "one of the two or three best artisans in the Zuni Pueblo." He was considered a Master Silversmith, best known for his crosses. His pieces are in many museums around the world. The silver on the cross has nice aged patina.
