Description

Wolf Robe Hunt Signed Turquoise/Sterling Silver Jewelry Set includes ring, pendant, earrings.  Purchased from his Arrowood Trading Post in Catossa, Oklahoma in the early 1960's.  Silver work includes scrolls, round silver beading, and pendant features a pair of beautiful etched eagles on sides.

Wolf Robe Hunt was a full-blooded Acoma Native American, born at Acoma Pueblo.  His mother was Morning Star, a potter and weaver.  Father was Edward Hunt, Chief of the Delight Maker & Medicine Man.   He had private art lessons from famous Albuquerque artist Carl Redin, studied art under Frank Vonderlachen,  attended Albuquerque High School.  He moved to Tulsa, Ok, opened his own Indian Arts Store.  (1905-1977).
