VTG PACKARD AUTOMOBILE CAR FAMILY CREST “ASK THE MAN WHO OWNS ONE” MOTTO POSTER. I bought this years ago from a guy who collected maps. It has been waiting for a frame ever since. This is a 25 1/2” H x 18” W poster made of heavier gauge & lightly textured paper in a sepia brown color. This poster commemorates the adoption of the PACKARD Brothers family crest into the PACKARD company. It announces the passing of the two brothers who founded this iconic car company and includes the MOTTO “Ask the Man Who Owns One”. We are not sure how to date this piece. It would have been post 1928 when the last of the two brothers passed away & the company closed in 1958. We believe that this is an original piece of PACKARD history & a worthy offering for any collection. The paper poster has been lovingly rolled up for many years in my home & since the late 1950s prior to that. I will be carefully shipping this in the as found, rolled presentation. Condition shows very minor ripple due to rolled nature & trace this & thats. Very nice & suitable for framing. Please do not hesitate to ask for more pictures, etc & I will do my best to answer. Thanks~Tawny. ***I used small glasses to safely hold poster in place to take pictures excuse the glare, etc
