I am sure you have come across a really nice brooch just to find it was missing the brooch pin part on the back. Well these are very easy to use, just open the pin holder back just a little (I use my needle nose pliers or a putty knife to open it but be careful not to be to rough as it could break. Now place the pin in between, take a pair of regular pliers (no teeth
preferred
) and squeeze gently until closed. Now you just repaired a piece that can have life again. It is actually really easy however some brooch backs require different types of stems and this lot has an assortment so you are most likely going to find what you need, these are  most common on older vintage pieces as some have a circle or ring on them and others have the end with a tiny pin to lock it in place. depending on what type of brooch
