  • Condition: Earrings have been stored in our safe since we acquired them in c1994. They have a beautiful patina/antiquing and show some age on the dangles/fringe. There are light scratches on the back showing some wear but are in overall, excellent condition, considering their age. We have only lightly cleaned them since their patina is part of their charm and beauty. Our guess is that they next owner of these beauties will want visible and natural signs of age. Please inspect carefully and feel free to reach out with any questions or clarification.

    Description

    Beautiful sterling silver earrings with 13 turquoise stones in a triangular shape with four dangles/fringes at their base. Earrings are a total of 3" from the top to the base of the dangles (approximately 1.5" length on the triangular turquoise top) and approximately 1.25" at their widest point. They are approximately 24.6 grams total weight. They are signed "LG", an unknown artist who was likely Navajo but may possibly be Santo Domingo. The number 13 is sacred and honored in ritualistic practices in many Native American tribes. We purchased these earrings for our store in the mid-1990's and they have been in our safe, unworn since that time. However, they were likely crafted as early as the 1960's/70's and have obviously been worn. They have a heavy patina and antique look which is part of their charm and appeal.
