    Description

    Striking high quality turquoise ring by renowned jeweler, Gary Reeves (1962-2014).  The beautiful stone is Morenci turquoise with a bronze/brown matric.  It is approximately size 6.75 and weighs 9.9 grams. The stone is rectangular, approximately 1" x 3/4" and has silver beading on the top and bottom. This is new old stock, purchased ring NEW for our gallery inventory in 1993.  It is stamped "sterling" and signed "G Reeves" in script. Please see photos.

    Gary Reeves was an important Navajo silversmith who began crafting jewelry at the young age of 12. He was the brother or renowned Navajo artists, Sunshine and David Reeves (deceased). They used high quality stones and materials and called their style "Navajo Revival" as it was inspired by the designs of early 20th century Navajo jewelry.
