Vintage Zuni Sun Face Sterling Turquoise, stone, mop, coral Inlay Necklace And Earrings Set. Original earrings were professionally altered by my jeweler so that screw backs were removed and french hooks were added to create beautiful (updated) dangle pierced earrings instead of non-pierced. Otherwise well preserved and presented ZUNI NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN STERLING SILVER CORAL TURQUOISE INLAY STONE NECKLACE and earrings matching set.
Pieces are well made; and in good condition; however, they are preowned and from about the 1940's, and have surface scratches and dings from use or wear and some fleabites or small chips to the stones are normal and assumed even though I have not seen any. These are unmarked silver but we're purchased from an estate that presented them as sterling silver.
Pieces are beautifully decorated with well matched stones and shell and silver patina is still visible even though they were cleaned a few years ago.  The several inlaid stones as well as shell pieces (turquoise and mother of pearl) arranged in native sun face or floral (sunflower) designs.  Necklace features four hanging designs and has a hook clasp. Necklace is fancy and handmade!  This set would make a lovely addition to anyone's collection!
