    Description

    Vintage Native American Buffalo Teeth Necklace. The 27 teeth were strung with old cotton cord in green, yellow and blue. The teeth that are broken or chipped came from the buffalo that way. There is a buckeye to adjust the length--extended length is 34 inches.
    As anyone who has been following my auctions knows, I do not know when I acquired this piece--I was in 'collect and store' mode from 1970 to 2000. I retired about 20 years ago and went into 'take the collections out of storage and put them into display cases' mode. Now I am in 'you are getting old and need to pare down' mode. Nonsmoking home. Stay tuned as I have a very extensive Native American, Cowboy and equine collection to pare down :-).
