Often, Draper merges contemporary designs through the soul of legendary navajo methods. (
Born circa 1955) A benchsmith for the White Hogan this Navajo jeweler began producing jewelry in 1973.
His preferred mark is an L with D slightly offset and joined to it according to Barton Wright's book

beautifully hand crafted
long necklace by
pioneer silversmith jewelry artist Lowell Draper of the Navajo tribe
. Featuring a remarkable strand of
Navajo artisan hand made 925 fine sterling silver graduated radiant rondelle shaped beads with the original patina held together through a thin basket weave steel cable, (8) linked 14k radiant gold cylindrical & cone shape
pieces
with Navajo patterns and 2 long silver cones at each end that gives it that
unique
look with a hook style clasp, stamped LD3. Circa 1980's. An extremely rare
piece
of
Lowell Draper
vintage jewelry. Will make a great addition to any jewelry or vintage collection.
Used condition, will show some signs of use, tarnish and surface wear as appropriate with age (See photos). No dings or dents. Overall in excellent condition. Although not stamped for metal purity the necklace was tested and it is Sterling Silver & 14K Gold.
