    Description

    This Hotchkiss No 2 stapler was meant to be a heavy duty stapler for the larger jobs that the Hotchkiss No 1 much smaller stapler couldn't handle. Unfortunately, it is made of pig iron and not very structurally
    sound. The construction materials of the stapler poorly fit its intended use and it wasn't on the market very long. In fact, it is rare to find one without a large crack in it. This one does not have a crack.
    The Hotchkiss No 2 stapler is unusual looking but rather attractive with its Victorian engraving and the date 1896. This piece has a remarkably beautiful patina and would add depth to any collection.
