The 8 inputs of the decoder are for track occupancy reporting or for triggering memory or IB-Switch switching functions and routes in the Commander can be connected directly to the track sections to be monitored. Integrated electronic track occupancy detectors register every power-consuming vehicle (locomotives, lighted wagons or wagons equipped with resistance wheel sets) on these isolated sections.
