    Description

Sterling silver and turquoise 2-stone pierced (posts) earrings by renowned artist, Federico Jimenez. We purchased these earrings new, directly from Federico for our store in the early 1990's and they have been in our safe, unworn since that time. They are approximately 1 3/8" long and 3/8" at their widest point. They weigh approximately 8.5 grams. Each earring has two deep turquoise cabochons -- a round stone at the top from which dangles a diamond drop. The stones are framed by a silver antiqued "rope". They are petit but striking. Federico has been living, studying and creating his art from his home and studio in California since the 1960's. He often creates in a traditional Navajo style and his pieces are made to look "old". They are often highly antiqued with beautiful patinas. He is highly active in the Native American community and has served on boards such as the Millicent Rogers Museum and the Southwest Indian Museum in LA. Please examine carefully and let us know if you have any questions or need further information/photos. Priced below market for a quick sell.
