Description

This fabulous bracelet is what accomplished Navajo smith Ernest Roy Begay's work is all about: hefty weight, imaginative and precise stamping, and finest quality Mediterranean coral stones. Eleven oval corals are set row style, with applied silver drops interspersed, on a heavily hand-stamped shank that is also decorated on the reverse side. Stamped Sterling and his hallmark, ERB. Dimensions: interior circumference 5 1/2", gap 1". Height 5/8". Weight a stout 94 grams; inflexible, so be assured of your size.
In addition to its high-quality materials, the bracelet shows Ernest's innovative blend of traditional and contemporary design. In great vintage condition, with minor to microscopic signs of usage (see detail photo). His silverwork is meant to have a bright finish with patina in the recessed areas to display the stamping. You can clean this further if you prefer.
