Fine, precision work by an award-winning, veteran silversmith
Beautifully and evenly chased in a repeating pattern across the surface

Stamped areas are darkened with an oxide for contrast
Earrings measure 3/8 inch across top; 5/8 inch across bottom; and 13/16 inch long
Metal is sterling silver, including posts and clutches
    Hallmarked: "A. Lee" and ".925"
These earrings are new old stock (see below)
Allison Lee is in an elite group of Native American silversmiths who have won all or most of the awards available to them in juried shows, including the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Indian Market. This is easier said than done, but Allison's strong work ethic, design and technical skills, use of high-quality materials, and superb taste have made his work stand out. Every piece, from the whimsical animal pins that launched his popularity to the major pieces that win the awards, is made with equal attention to detail.
There's a hint of modernism in these earrings, which is quite a departure from the classic Navajo style that was Allison's specialty early on. During his career, he has gone from the historical to the contemporary, settling on a look that is somewhere in the middle.
You can see the quality in this pair of earrings that we bought from Allison back in the early 2000s and found recently in a box of jewelry that had been in storage and was overlooked for a long time. This is a discontinued design, and it would be difficult to find another pair in the same pristine condition. The earrings are new, shiny and perfect. Neither too small nor too large, they'll go with about anything in your wardrobe, from office attire to jeans and a tee. In other words, this just might be the perfect pair of earrings.

    Who We Are
Canyon Echoes Gallery is an eBay store that sells excellent Native American jewelry and fetish carvings and strives to provide equally good customer service. Now in our 26th year in business, we deal in
    genuine
American Indian goods, including new and vintage/antique items. Most come from either the artists themselves, reservation trading posts, or veteran dealers with impeccable credentials.
Almost every piece of Native American art offers insight into the culture behind it. Sometimes you can see it right away; other times it's more subtle. But you'll never find that special quality in a cheap imitation. That's why we're so particular about what we sell...and have been since 1995. We think we have some of the best Indian material on eBay and hope you think so, too.
If you like what you see, please view our other listings and make us one of your favorite stores. We're glad to combine shipping to save you money, and...
We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
Thanks for your business--we truly appreciate it!
