This listing is for a set of two dinner plates in the
Briar Rose (Gold Trim)
design. The plates, which measure approximately 10-3/8" in diameter, were produced in Bavaria, Germany by
Schumann
. The pattern has since been retired. These fine porcelain plates feature a white body, briar rose center, embossed scrolls along the rim, gold trim, and a scalloped edge.
CONDITION
You'll find these
dinner plates to be,
at worst
, in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal, virtually nonexistent, and infinitesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I won't list an item as mint.) Some of the plates are in mint, unused, like new condition with absolutely no surface wear at all. Whether mint or near-mint, the floral ornamentation is pristine and unblemished, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue.
