Schumann Bavarian Fox Hunting Decorative Vintage Porcelain 7" Plates La

Description

The plates depict two different scenes of a fox hunt. Hand painted and signed by artist Schumann. The plates measures 7" in diameter and is 3/4" high on a flat surface. The top edge is trimmed with a gold band.
The plates picture two Equestrian riders on different scenes of the fox hunt. The exact age of this piece is unknown. However, based on family information, the piece probably dates to the late 1940's or 50's. Each piece is stamped with the Crown Lion crest and Schumann name.
This set is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, breaks or repairs. There is some wear and fading of the gold band on both plates. Due to it age and usage, some of the gold decorative paint liner is less visible. Review photos. Excellent for display or dessert/salad plates for two.
