Santo Domingo Mary Coriz 10 Strand Clam Shell Heishi Necklace

Santo Domingo artist Mary Coriz created this beautiful, traditional heishi necklace with nothing but clam shell strung into 10 strands and finished with a squaw wrap.  The clam shell heishi is expertly cut into thin discs and varies white to off-white to peach in color, strung tightly along each strand.  Squaw wrap is made of carpet thread.  Necklace does not have a clasp, and cannot be measured from end to end.  Measures 16 1/2" from top to bottom.
