Old FRANK VACIT Indian Zuni multi-stone inlay Thunderbird Sterling silver bolo tie, unmarked. Unfortunately many older artists did not hallmark their work but this work is pictured in several books and pieces like this are in museums. Considering the cord grip on the slide (pendant), this piece was definitely produced prior to 1957. This beautiful collectable piece showcases green and blue turquoise stones, coral, mother of pearl, and jet set in a smooth bezel slide with silver channels in between them, forming a colorful inlaid mosaic. There are silver appliques and stamp work throughout the whole pendant. Very dark patina. This bolo tie weighs a total of 40.1 grams, and the slide is 2 5/8" tall by 1 13/16" wide (at its widest point). The leather cord is very malleable and measures about 40" in length, including the 3 1/4" tips and dangles, and although it shows uniform signs of wear, it is still in fairly good shape to be worn by those who appreciate the vintage look on a cord to better match the old slide. The tips have dangles that are a smaller version of the slide, with the same exceptional channel inlay and decorations; they are approximately 2 1/8" tall by 13/16" wide. Store Policies:
We do not require immediate payment at time of purchase, and will work with buyers, at our discretion, on a future payment date that is mutually convenient. Depending on the asking price, you may have up to 90 days to make a payment.
We offer free return shipping so long as we receive the request within 14 days from delivery date for items purchased in the "Collectibles" category (when it's the primary category), and 30 days for items purchased in the "Jewelry & Watches" category (when it's the primary category).
Items must be returned in the same condition described in the listing.
Our items are packed securely and under surveillance cameras for your peace of mind.
All returns will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee up to , unless the item has a flaw, damage, or detail not previously mentioned in the listing and/or shown in the photographs provided, or if any aspect of the item, such as a measurement, was grossly misrepresented in the listing.
We ship next business day after payment is received. Friday sales are usually shipped on Mondays, unless it's a holiday.
Items with asking price up to 5 will be shipped First Class, and all other items will be shipped Priority, unless buyers request something different prior to making the purchase. Tracking number will be automatically generated by eBay and posted to the transaction for both First Class and Priority shipping as soon as we create a label. Items over 0 will require signature upon delivery, even when shipped to a P. O. Box.
