    Description

    Being offered is a vintage, Navajo Indian, hand crafted necklace and pendant.  The necklace has a polished Number 8 Turquoise nugget as a pendant.  The pendant is in good condition and approx. 1 1/8" by 3/4".  The necklace is crafted from the old style bech beads.  These have been called Navajo Pearls.  These beads were constructed from to hammered halves joined together, showing a seam.  These beads were labor intensive to craft.  The larger size beads are approx. 5/16" by 1/4".  The necklace also has shell heishi beads which look like abalone.  The necklace does show age but is in nice shape and approx. 17" long.  Insurance is included in the price for SH.  The necklace weighs approx. 37.3 grams.
