    Description

    Vintage Native American turquoise coral Sterling silver snake necklace, hallmarked EFFIE C ZUNI by the artist. This piece showcases a sky-blue turquoise and a red coral set in segmented bezels, with a snake in between them. The body of the snake is textured, and the tail loops around and serves as the bale for this piece. The stones sit in the center of the pendant, and it's adorned with stamps all around the edge. The snake has turquoise inlaid eyes. The flush inlaid eyes on the snakes is Effie's signature, and she used it in virtually all of her pieces. The necklace weighs approximately 12 grams. The pendant is 1 5/8" tall, including the bale, by 13/16" wide, at its widest. The Sterling silver chain is stamped .925 and ITALY, and measures almost 20 1/2" in length, from spring ring clasp to eye. Absolutely a collector's piece.
    Note: One of the eyes is missing a turquoise or coral stone, and the price has been reduced accordingly. Easy fix.
