Large "Dazzling" Eagle Dancer Kachina Bolo Tie

Description

Wow! Offered here is a large, dazzling bolo tie! It features an Eagle Dancer Kachina design. This piece has great detailing from the stamp work, metal textures, to the many (10) Morenci turquoise cabochon settings. The Morenci Turquoise Mine (located in Southeast Arizona) produced a turquoise that is light to bright blue in hue. This stone has an unusual matrix of irregular quartz and pyrite that, when polished, often resembles silver. The artist did an excellent job of creating this masterpiece! It is on a braided, black leather cord with silver tips and is sterling silver with a substantial weight to it.
MAKER: Hallmarked R.W. James with a Kokopelli and rainbow.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1970s 80s.
SIZE: Braided cord measures 45 inches long, including the tips. Slide measures 6-1/8 inches long X 6-1/2 inches wide. Weighs 187.8 grams.
CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
