Extravagant LARGE Zuni sterling silver cluster long dangle earrings with red NATURAL coral needlepoint stones arranged in the pattern of a naja on a squash blossom necklace. These marvelous earrings consist of a simple post finding with the naja pendant suspended from it and a dangling drop pendant inside of the naja. Applied accents include twist wire and numerous raindrops. The lattice workmanship, stone cutting, and overall design is exceptional!
Excellent quality and condition for these contemporary earrings. They have the hallmarks “Claudine Penketewa Zuni, N.M.” engraved on the backs. Reasonable wholesale starting price. Large but not too heavy. This item comes from a batch of jewelry that I had made for me from rough natural Italian coral that I purchased. I gave the rough coral to a Zuni trader friend of mine to give out for piece work to prominent Zuni Pueblo artisans. You can rest assured that the coral is genuine and not some type of dyed or synthetic material that is currently all too common in newly produced jewelry. I will have more of this natural coral Zuni jewelry listed in coming weeks.
