Native American Indian Pilot Mountain turquoise, coral inset, Sterling silver pendant, stamped STERLING, and hallmarked KRS with bear paw stamps all around by Navajo artist CHRIS BILLIE. Chris utilizes every aspect of the piece to express his Navajo roots, in this pendant, the silver border was beautifully cut out with corn stalk designs and Native American motif. Despite of the traditional details of his jewelry, he tends to add his own touch to each item. This lovely turquoise pendant is inlaid with a coral flower cluster, a unique and meticulous stone work. This beautiful stone is set in a serrated bezel wrapped in twisted wire on a recessed setting with a intricate border. This pendant weighs approximately 45 grams, and it's about 2 9/16" tall, including the bale, by 1 7/8" wide. The turquoise is 1 15/16" tall by 1 7/16" wide from bezel to bezel. Exceptional craftsmanship. Just noticed there is a hairline in the turquoise below the coral dots. The pictures magnify it and it is barely noticeable in hand, if at all.
PS: Last we heard, Chris became an EMT, and is no longer producing jewelry.
Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art

Additional notes: The coral cluster has three flush ones, most likely chipped off. The three corals still show well.  The color of the turquoise is more of an pale aqua-blue, not the intense blue shown on the first picture.
