JAGUAR XKE, E-TYPE DOOR HINGE OVERHAUL SERVICE

Description

Before you buy a replacement hinge read this. I can rebuild your rusty, frozen or sagging
hinge be
tter than new.
A new replacement hinge can cost several hundred dollars I can rebuild yours for much less.
First I will blast it to remove all rust and corrosion.
Then I will disassemble it to inspect it.
I will then bore out the hinge and press in self lubricating bronze oilite bushing.
Next I will reassemble the hinge, installing a new hinge pin and welding it in place as was the original.
Finally I will paint the hinge with an etch primer, ready for you to paint with your color.
Your rebuilt hinge will be quickly returned better than new and the hinge pin will never bind, seize or break
again as many do over time.
Please note, I do not have hinges to exchange with yours.
