Description
Welcome!Offering... a fabulous and very rare, hand crafted early century Navajo bracelet of exceptional quality and beauty, dating to the 1920s with three natural turquoise stones, stamped elements on the sides and terminals and gorgeous chisel work and carving on the sides and terminals, too. It's hand constructed of ingot and the design work is exceptionally gorgeous early work. One of the stamps looks like a bird track around the edges. There are three turquoise stones, the center being roughly round in shape, and the two side stones more or less oval in shape, each plain bezel set each. It's so much more gorgeous in person than in these pictures! I adore it and wear it often.
This extraordinary bracelet measures about 3/4" wide at the terminals, and tapers toward the center area which is about 1/2". The bracelet measures about 5-3/8" end to end internal length and the gap about 1-3/16" for a total of about 6-9/16" in wrist diameter, and the weight 48.7grams. The silver has a nice thick heavy feel and seems to be coin at .900 silver. The beauty of the work on this is compelling and wonderful. Of course, being a very old piece, it is unsigned and not marked for silver content. Pieces of this age almost never would be signed, but the quality of the work is museum worthy and fabulously satisfying to wear. Condition is excellent vintage, wearable and collectible.
You can't do better than this for your collection. It's wonderful! I wear it alone and sometimes combine it with others. I included one picture in which I'm wearing it with other old bracelets which I was selling here separately. The others have been sold. This one is fabulous and a great favorite of mine. A superb old masterpiece; I adore it and I am sure you will, too.

International buyers pay actual shipping cost if I’m shipping myself rather than using eBay’s Global Shipping service, and International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their own countries may apply. Please discuss changing shipping method prior to purchase. My shipping defaults to Express International, which is tracked and insured, but I can use Priority Mail International. It's less expensive and is also tracked. First Class International is no longer offered by the US Postal Service. I charge the actual shipping cost and since shipping to each country costs a different amount, I will charge a little extra and refund the exact difference once I can put your address in and print a shipping label. I am no longer shipping to Italy and China, but can make exceptions if you speak with me about it, especially if you are a prior customer.

When I include pages from published books in my listings it is in accordance with Fair Use Law, which permits the use of source material for discussion, reference, education and criticism.
Attributions on many of the old pieces of Native American jewelry are sometimes a moving target. All the books have errors, so in addition to counterchecking, I have developed some expertise over the years and I do care about getting it right, so as more information comes to light I update my listings and also get in touch with my previous buyers, to inform them of any changes in attributions. I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.
