    Description

This spectacular sterling silver overlay bolo tie was made by the famous Hopi artist Danielle Wadsworth. She is a silversmith that is famous for her difficult designs created through Hopi overlay, a sophisticated silversmithing technique that creates highly detailed, dimensional jewelry pieces. She can also be found in all the major Native Jewelry catalogs and reference books. This is stamp signed with her correct hallmark "snowflake or star". I have found no major defects like deep scratches, dents, but there is a light coat of patina, minor scratches and wear appropriate with the age, it is stamped sterling and the ornate ball 1 7/8" tips are also sterling . The leather braided black 5mm cord is the type with a flat portion to go under the collar which has probably been replaced at some point, minor wear on the cord and the clasp is tight and works well.
Slide measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide narrowing to 1 1/4". Ornate sterling silver tested tips measures 1 7/8" with 6mm ball in perfect condition.
Black Leather 5mm braided under the collar cord in great pliable condition and measures a total of 42" including the tips.
    Weight is 35 grams
Modern design of a Kachina warrior.
