Artist: (JF conjoined) Federico Jimenez, renowned Mexican artist who resides in the US, LA area, and whose work has been inspired by Native American motifs. He was a trustee of the Millicent Rogers Museum in New Mexico, and The Southwest Indian Museum in Los Angeles, and is recognized for his cultural community activity promoting American Southwestern art. Many Hollywood types wear his art. Highly collectable.

For the Navajos, the dragonfly symbolizes pure water. Other tribes believe it symbolizes happiness, transformation, speed, and/or efficiency. The Chinese believe it to be a symbol of good luck.
