This is a rare and highly sought after San Juan Pueblo ring my master jewelry artisan Steve Wikviya LaRance and Marian Denipah. This husband and wife team creates exquisite works of contemporary Native American art in jewelry. Expertly created using the tufa cast jewelry method by Steve LaRance and Marian Denipah. Steve LaRance is Hopi. Marian Denipah was born to a Navajo father and San Juan Pueblo mother. Together they create works of art using precious metals and unique stone combinations. Their designs are modern and contemporary. San Juan jewelry in yellow gold is exceedingly rare and unusual. Textured 14K yellow gold with purple sugilite stone. Modernist and striking design. Artisan made. Hand crafted by this highly sought after master jewelry artisan. This is a quality, high-end,  museum quality piece. Purchased approximately 20 years ago by a longtime collector.

Size:
Ring measures about 7.5 on my ring sizer rod. It's larger than 7, but not 8. The stone itself is about 1.5" tall or 3 cm long / tall and 1 cm wide. The band is what I would call a cigar band ring.

Condition:
Vintage. Very Light wear. Very wearable.
