    Description

Ivankin F.F. Kuznetsov A.Yu. Corpus of Russian banknotes 1769-1843
The Corpus of Russian Banknotes has been published - an extension of the Corpus of Russian Credit Notes. It includes a description of 2,568 bank notes of all three types and 673 so-called "Napoleonic" forgeries from private collections and museum collections. Variants of signatures and safety of each sign are indicated.
There is also a summary table of all denominations by year, which will allow you to immediately understand the rarity of this or that sign in comparison with the rest.
In addition to the fact that for the first time Russian banknotes are described in such detail, for the first time the most complete (as far as possible) decoding of signatures on banknotes is given.
For the first time, new data on "Napoleonic" forgeries are published - how many numbers were printed with certain signature variants, some previously unknown denominations of 5 and 100 rubles are described.
