    :  Emery Goseyun Sr.: He is a San Carlos Apache Tribal member and resides on the Reservation.
    He has been mining peridot in San Carlos over 30 yrs with his parents. His parents are retired now, so he hires tribe members to mine at the peridot mesa. He learned jewelry making from his mother. His wife and his brilliant 5 children also learned how to create jewelries.

    San Carlos Apache Reservation is located in east of Arizona.
    The main town is San Carlos which is 100 miles east from Phoenix and Bylas is located about 30 miles east from San Carlos.
    We Apache people love acorn dumpling soup, mashed pinto beans on fried bread and squash and corn dish. Picking acorn is annual fun for family. Another favorite is Indian tamale that made of dried meat and flour.
