    Description

    Here is a beautiful, double-sided pendant crafted by award-winning, Navajo artisan, Al Joe.
    About the artist:
    Al Joe adds a contemporary edge to traditional Navajo designs.
    He crafts jewelry in sterling silver and uses stamping, overlay, and shadowbox techniques.
    Al learned jewelry making skills from Colbert Joe, his uncle.
    He was later educated at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
    His current residence is in Winslow, Arizona and is currently producing jewelry everyday.
    Al Joe has been known to use a variety of Turquoises, including stones from Carico Lake Mine, as well as Mediterranean Coral.  His designs have an elegance that carries them into the modern day.
    Al Joe was awarded the Indian Arts and Crafts Association Artist of the Year in 2001 and again in 2009!
    This signed piece is double-sided.
    Crafted of Sterling Silver it features inlaid Turquoise and Coral.
    This vintage piece or wearable art has a lovely patina.
    One side features a traditional feather design crafted with stone nuggets.
    The other side boasts an inlaid design.
    The diameter of the outer circle is approximately 2 5/8""
    The center, double-sided part of the pendant is about 2" in diameter.
