Description
This is a very nice, nearly uncirculated, large, oversize holder necessary,
“Twenty-Five Rubles”
note from the long-gone and unlamented
“Union of Soviet Socialist Republics”
. It is dated 1947 and is the earlier of two types of this note.
The central arms have 16 scrolls around the wheat stalks on either side of the hammer and sickle. The later version, still dated 1947 but issued in 1957, only had 15.
Size: 171 Millimeters or 6.73 Inches x 97 Millimeters or 3.82 Inches.
Oversize holder necessary and included.

The Note:
A very lightly circulated example, it has some light pencil marks, some light bends and wrinkles but no creases and retains near full crispness. No edge or body tears and no pinholes.
The note will be sent in a new
“oversize”
currency holder that protects it.
