    Description

    Lot is for a vintage 1932 framed certificate issued by the BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA:  the CUB SECTION 'ELEMENTS OF CUB LEADERSHIP-PART 1' Certificate of Completion, issued in December 1932 in Huntington WVa.
    The certificate is in very good condition.  The typed in names and fill-in data have faded, but can be made out under a magnifying glass.  The signatures are in great condition, and the illustrations on the certificate are in excellent condition.  Certificate is complete without tears,rips, etc., although it does have two small holes in the top above the frame edge (possibly moth or bookworm type damage).  The back of the certificate is browning from being in contact with the cardboard backing piece of the frame.  Certificate is framed in a nice glass front silver tone wall frame, the whole unit measuring 10 1/8" by 8 1/8".
    A nice vintage BOY SCOUT related paper collectible!
